AltServer is a companion application for your computer that allows AltStore to side-load applications onto your device. As long as the AltStore is on the same WiFi network as the computer running AltServer - or plugged directly into the computer via USB - the AltStore can side-load, refresh, activate and deactivate applications! AltServer is also used to install the AltStore first, and if your AltStore is out of date, you can refresh it manually by reinstalling the AltStore using AltServer.without needing (so sth)Remove AltStore first.

The AltStore will attempt to refresh your application automatically over the course of a week, so we recommend starting the AltServer at computer startup and letting it run in the background to ensure that the AltStore can do its job.
