Lenovo, HP, and Dell are among the top three PC shippers in the global PC market, with Apple following close behind, maintaining its position as the world's fourth-largest PC vendor, according to recent Q2 global PC shipment figures from Gartner and IDC. Gartner and IDC recently released global PC shipment data, respectively, 64.8 million units and 2.8%.

In the second quarter, Lenovo shipped 16,197,000 units for a market share of 25%; HP shipped 16,165,000 units for a market share of 24.9%; Dell shipped 10,648,000 units for a market share of 16.4%; and Apple's shipments are expected to be 4,368,000 units for a market share of 6.7% with a market share also expected to be 5.1%.

According to IDC, Q2 shipments have reached 72.61 million and are expected to grow by 11.21 TP3T. unlike Gartner, IDC's data shows that HP is the Q2 champion with 18.082 million units shipped, surpassing Lenovo's 17.411 million units.
In addition, Gartner attributes the increase in shipments to the outbreak of epidemics, an increase in the number of people in the household, and increased demand for online offices and online education, which will not be sustained in the long term, and may explain the large gap between the two organizations' estimates.
