TrollInstallerX
Troll Store Installer for iOS 14.0 - 16.6.1
Software Introduction

TrollInstallerX Troll Installer is a universal TrollStore Troll Store installer. It focuses on extremely reliable exploits and is easy to use. It is also very fast and can install TrollStore or Troll Assistant on the latest devices in seconds.
TrollInstallerX supports all devices running iOS 14.0 - 16.6.1, including arm64 and arm64e. it uses one of two different methods to install TrollStore, depending on the device and iOS you have. these methods are:
- Direct Installation: Using the kfd kernel vulnerability and the dmaFail PPL bypass on iOS 15.2+ arm64e devices, TrollInstallerX can install TrollStore and its troll assistant directly to the device without leaving the installer.
- Supports iOS 14.0 - 16.6.1 (arm64) and iOS 14.0 - 16.5.1 (arm64e).
- take note of: This method is not supported on A15, A16, and M2 devices on iOS 16.5.1.
- take note of: The A8(X) iPad supports firmware versions 14.0 through 15.1 only.
- Supports iOS 14.0 - 16.6.1 (arm64) and iOS 14.0 - 16.5.1 (arm64e).
- Indirect installation: Using the kfd kernel exploit, TrollInstallerX can replace the system application of your choice with the TrollStore troll assistant. This method exists due to the lack of a PPL bypass on iOS 16.6 and later and the fact that dmaFail does not work on A15, A16 and M2 devices on iOS 16.5.1.
- Supports iOS 16.5.1 - 16.6.1 (arm64e).
- take note of: This method is the only one supported on iOS 16.5.1 for A15, A16, and M2 devices.
- Supports iOS 16.5.1 - 16.6.1 (arm64e).
Both of these methods allow you to install the Troll Assistant into a removable system application. The reason this is needed is because of the way the CoreTrust bug (used by TrollStore) works - in some cases, TrollStore and the other apps it installs will reset to the user's registration, not the system. You can't open any apps until you set them back to system registration using the Troll Assistant.

frequently asked questions
Why is it stuck at "Exploiting kernel"?
This is a common problem with kfd vulnerability exploits. Simply reboot your device and retry.
Why is my iOS 16.3 iPhone 14 / Plus not installing trolls properly or not using TrollInstallerX properly?
If you are installing Troll on an iOS 16.3 (20D50) Yellow iPhone 14 or Yellow iPhone 14 Plus, you will need to download the TrollInstallerX-20D50 version.
Why can't I open TrollStore after a successful installation?
During the installation process you will install a persistence assistant. Open the Persistence Assistant and press "Refresh Application Registration" to fix the problem that the TrollStore does not open.
Why didn't the app I chose for Troll Assistant become Troll Assistant?
If you have selected an application for Persistent Helper and it has not changed, you probably already have Persistent Helper installed. Open TrollStore and go to Settings to see which application is set up as a Persistent Helper.
Why do I get the "not being able to patchfind" error?
Any of them:
- You are using a version that is not supported by MacDirtyCow and are not connected to the Internet, or;
- You are using a yellow iPhone 14 or yellow iPhone 14 Plus on iOS 16.3 (20D50), in which case please wait for us to update.
In addition, if the file exists in the/TrollInstallerX.app/kernelcacheTrollInstallerX will use this file instead of downloading the kernel cache. If you have a slow or unstable Internet connection, or happen to have a combination of devices and versions that do not have a public kernel cache available, this may be a good way to solve the problem.
Why does TrollInstallerX display "Unable to install Persistence Assistant" using the indirect method?
The indirect method is not perfect and sometimes the installation of Persistence Assistant fails. If this happens, simply turn off your device, turn it back on, and retry. If you have recurring problems with the same app, try using a different app.
Why does TrollInstallerX not support iOS 17.0?
TrollInstallerX does not support iOS 17.0 as we do not have any public vulnerabilities against it. It will be integrated into TrollInstallerX once it is released.
