Why does Chimera flashback, fail to authenticate, or fail to open?

When installing a jailbreak tool on an iOS device, it is often necessary to sign the app to ensure its origin and integrity. These signatures are usually provided by developer certificates, which are time-sensitive. When the certificates are invalid, the corresponding apps cannot be verified, which can lead to flashing or failure to open.

How to remove Chimera jailbreak environment?

1. Open the Chimera application
2. Swipe up on the lower panel and click on the red color Restore RootFS
   • Some versions may require a device reboot firstRestore RootFS appears only after
3. Press Jailbreak or Restore Filesystem.
   • This may take some time, if it fails, try again!
4. Click OK on the Reboot required window
5. Chimera tool after clearing the desktop may have Sileo or plugin icon cache, does not affect the final result, if you need to clear it, please go to Settings - General - Restore - Wipe All Content and Settings.

In order to fix Chimera flashing, unverifiable, not opening, etc., an effective way is to re-sign these apps. Re-signing can be done either with a free certificate or by purchasing a valid developer certificate. These certificates are available on specialized certificate websites such as (Click here to get your P12 certificate). Once a valid certificate has been obtained, the user can re-sign Chimera using the appropriate tool to resolve the above issues (free certificates are corporate shared certificates and may be invalid).
