Redmi launched the note 9 series in the Indian market last week, including two new models, the note 9 pro and note 9promax, both equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720g processors, which don't support 5g networks and are not suitable for the domestic market.
Due to the lack of support for 5g networks, Lu said that the Note9 series will only be sold in overseas markets, and the Chinese market will focus on 5g products, with a 5g version of the Note9 series expected to be launched.
Recently, Xiaomi Malaysia announced that it will be launching a new redmi note 9 s machine locally on March 23, which is supposed to look like a rebranded version of the note 9 pro.
This could also be the new Note 9 phone which is yet to be officially announced. This machine is rumored to launch with MediaTek's Helio p75 chip.
The Note9S looks basically the same as the released Note9Pro. It features a center cut-out screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9, side fingerprint recognition, rectangular quad camera, z-axis linear motors, IR emitter, 3.5mm headphone jack, 2x2mimo Wi-Fi and more.
