China Southern Airlines landed with 143 passengers on board when the front landing gear failed.

On November 2, 2019, China Southern Airlines flight CZ6540 from Guangzhou to Dalian via Shijiazhuang, the flight took off from Guangzhou at 17:40, arrived at Shijiazhuang 29 minutes earlier than scheduled, the arrival time was 19:51, and at 1953, there was a malfunction of the front landing gear at Shijiazhuang Airport when landing and taxiing.

The crew quickly braked (landing to stationary in 10 seconds) to stop the aircraft on the runway, when the Southern flight aircraft with 143 passengers, no casualties, all personnel are safe to do the shuttle bus to leave. At 2:35 p.m. that night, the aircraft was towed from the runway, SouthJet properly arranged the subsequent passenger journey.
