Apple will be releasing a number of new M4-chip Mac models around the end of October, and plans to launch some of them as soon as Friday, November 1st. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
In the latest issue of the Power On newsletter, Gurman said that Apple will launch an entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M4 chip, as well as high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips.

The desktop Mac will also receive an update. Gurman revealed that Apple plans to release a redesigned Mac mini with both M4 and M4 Pro chip options. The iMac will also be upgraded, and for the first time, Apple's all-in-one desktop will feature an M4 chip.
An updated iPad mini is also expected to launch in early November, which will be the first update to Apple's smallest tablet since its 2021 redesign.
Looking ahead, Gurman also detailed Apple's plans for hardware products in the first half of 2025. Expected to be launched are 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models with M4 chips, a new generation of Apple Intelligence-powered iPhone SE, and upgraded 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Airs with a new Magic Keyboard. in addition, AirTag will also receive an upgrade.
As for high-end desktop Mac users, they may have to wait even longer. While a new Mac Studio and Mac Pro with M4 chips are in the works, Gurman says the launch of those products is a little later. the Mac Studio is expected to launch in mid-2025, while the Mac Pro will come out at the end of the year.
