Tecno has launched two new smartphones in Nigeria — the Camon 20 Pro 5G and Camon 20 Premier 5G, priced at 199,900 naira (Rs 35,600) and 295,500 naira (Rs 52,600), Available in two colors: serenity blue and late night starry sky.
Both phones feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate and feature a Mediatek Dimensity 8050 6nm processor and an ARM G77 MC9 GPU.
In terms of memory and storage, the phone comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB (Pro) and 512GB (Premier) storage. Systemically, both phones run HiOS 13, an operating system based on Android 13.
The Camon 20 Premier camera features three sensors, including a 50MP main RGBW sensor with 6P+1G lens, PDAF, f/1.77 aperture, a 108MP ultra-wide Angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and a 2MP portrait sensor. The Camon 20 Pro 5G also uses three sensors, including a 64MP main RGBW sensor with P+G lens, OIS, f/1.65 aperture, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP portrait camera. In addition, the front-facing camera is 32MP, which can be used for selfies and video chats.
In terms of connectivity, both phones support 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C ports. Battery wise, both phones have a 5000mAh battery, with the Camon 20 Premier supporting 45W quick charge and the Camon 20 Pro 5G supporting 33W quick charge.
