Apple is about to launch a new OLED iPad Pro in 2024, which is expected to be more expensive than the existing iPad Pro and some MacBook Pros, according to Korean media reports.
According to industry sources, this OLED iPad Pro is expected to be sold at $1,500 and $1,800 respectively, which is more than 80% more expensive than the existing 11-inch iPad Pro with LED LCD screen and more than 60% more expensive than the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with mini LED LCD screen.

The cost of purchasing OLED panels is the main reason for the price increase, and Apple is in discussions with Samsung and LG Display regarding the supply price of the panels. Additionally, panel suppliers reportedly have concerns about pricing and sales forecasts for the OLED iPad Pro, which could negatively impact margins and investment in production lines.
While the price increase has caused some controversy, industry insiders believe it is justified because the OLED technology is more advanced and could appeal to Apple's loyal customer base. However, current industry price estimates for the OLED iPad Pro could change in the future.
