Indian manufacturer Lava launched the Agni 5G back in November 2021. well, its iteration is coming soon and we are now being invited by our informant Paras Guglani to take an early look at the device's configuration parameter specifications.
The Agni 2 5G could also have a "Pro" version, although we can't confirm that at the moment. It will be positioned as a mid-range flagship phone, replacing the long list of 5G phones currently on the market.
Lava's upcoming Agni 2 smartphone will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. in addition, a MediaTek Tengui 1080 octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage (expandable via microSD), USB Type-C port and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
Featuring a triple camera system with a 50MP primary camera, there is a possibility that OIS will be included. however, it is not certain if this will be included. Also, other details that we have learned from the leakers are that the Lava Agni 2 5G will come with a 16-megapixel selfie camera, while the fingerprint scanner will be mounted on the side of the device.
Lava Agni 2 5G Release Date and Expected Price
Rumor has it that Lava will launch its latest 5G mid-ranger in mid-March or April this year, so we won't have to wait too long to learn more about the device. While there's no pricing information on the Agni 2 5G or its Pro sibling handset yet, based on the current production of the Tenguet 1080 handset in the industry, we'd expect it to be priced in the range of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 (~$1,650-$2,050).
