According to China Youth Daily, the International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) released a statement in English and Chinese on its Chinese website this morning saying, "U.S. government regulations restrict Huawei and its employees from participating in a number of IEEE activities that are normally closed to the general public, including a portion of the peer-review and editorial process for publications that the IEEE is required to compliance. So far, IEEE members from Peking University, Tsinghua University and other universities have protested.

Beijing Releases 2018 Average Wages of Employed Persons in Urban Units
