Fortune China released its Fortune 2021 list of the top 500 U.S. companies on June 2, globally synchronized with English.com.
In terms of profitability, thepomegranateYear-on-year growth of 3.91 TP3T puts it back at the top of the profit charts, while Microsoft is in second place with year-on-year growth of 12.81 TP3T.
Technology and finance continue to be the most profitable industries, with nine of the top ten most profitable industries coming from these two sectors.
On June 2, Fortune Global released its 2021 U.S. 500 list simultaneously.
The top 10 companies are Walmart, Amazon, Apple, CVSHealth, and UnitedHealth Group,
Berkhil-Haswell, Macson, Meyen Bergen, Alphabet, ExxonMobil.
Overall, the threshold for making the list this year fell to $5.37 billion from $5.66 billion last year, due to the global flu outbreak.
Total revenue for the 500 companies on the list also fell slightly to $13.8 trillion, down 3.151 TP3T from a year ago.The top three companies accounted for two-thirds of U.S. GDP for the year
Fortune has released its 2021 ranking of the top 500 U.S. companies, and for the ninth year in a row, Walmart is No. 1 and Amazon is No. 2.
The top 50 companies are back at the top of the profit charts with a 3.9% year-on-year increase in profits. Next in line was Microsoft, whose profits rose 12.81 TP3T.
