Apple announced its plans for new product releases back earlier on September 16, BST, and based on previous predictions, the iPhone 12 series could be unveiled this evening.
While everyone has high expectations for the new iPhone 12, it may be late to the party. Ming Kuo, a renowned analyst, said that the new products at this Apple event will include the iPad Air, Apple Watch, but not the iPhone, considering that the product is about to go into production.

Kuo estimates that the iPhone 12 series will be available in early October at the earliest, and based on Apple's product cadence, the launch will likely not take place until the end of October.
Also according to media reports, evleaks has come up with evidence that an internal email from a carrier reveals that the iPhone 12 supports 5 G, but is scheduled to expire on October 20th.
Typically, Apple will start pre-orders on Friday and end them the following Thursday. So many believe that Apple will launch the iPhone 12 sometime in mid-October.
As a result, the iPhone 12 may not make an appearance at the launch event on September 15 (early morning BST on the 16th).
