common problems
Why is Unc0ver flashing back, unverifiable, and not opening?
When installing a jailbreak tool on an iOS device, it is often necessary to sign the app to ensure its origin and integrity. These signatures are usually provided by developer certificates, which are time-sensitive. When the certificates are invalid, the corresponding apps cannot be verified, which can lead to flashing or failure to open.
cure
In order to resolve issues such as unc0ver flashing, unverifiable, not opening, etc., an effective way is to re-sign these apps. Re-signing can be done either with a free certificate or by purchasing a valid developer certificate. These certificates can be obtained on specialized certificate websites such as (Click here to get your P12 certificate). Once a valid certificate has been obtained, the user can use the appropriate tool to re-sign unc0ver, thus solving the above problem (free certificates are enterprise-shared certificates and may be invalid).
How does Unc0ver clear the jailbreak environment and return to an unjailbroken state?
- Go to "Settings" in the upper left corner of Unc0ver.
- Enable "Refresh Icon Cache" and "Restore RootFS" in the third and sixth items depending on the version.
- Turn off "Load Tweaks" and "Disable Auto Updates" in the second and fourth items.
- Click Done in the upper right corner to save and return to the Unc0ver homepage
- Click on the "Restore RootFS" button at the bottom of the page and do the same as you did when jailbreaking.
