A new report suggests that the iPhone 15 will ditch the Lightning port in favor of a USB-C port to offer faster charging speeds. However, Apple will still restrict USB-C. The iPhone 15 Pro model will support faster data speeds, while the regular model will still use the slower USB 2.0. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 will have a new design, including slightly curved edges, narrower bezels around the display and larger camera bumps. The new iPhone is expected to be released in September. Since Apple no longer includes a power adapter, many users will be forced to buy new compatible chargers. Shipments of 20W USB-C power adapters are expected to increase by 120%.
